Canadian Hockey League and Dodge Announce Family All-Stars that will be heading to the MasterCard Memorial Cup in Saskatoon

  • One of these lucky families will win a Dodge Grand Caravan during the Semi-Final game on Friday, May 24
The Canadian Hockey League and Dodge today announced the names of the three families of the Dodge Family All-Stars Contest. Each of them has won a trip for two to the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup where they will compete to win the grand prize of a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. Congratulations to Bill and Pat Moore, billets of the PEI Rocket; Terry and Jonna Easterby, billets of the Sarnia Sting; and Kelly and Dan Snowden, billets of the Regina Pats.

"Together with the CHL, Dodge is proud to recognize the very deserving families who take young hockey players into their homes and care for them. We look forward to handing one of those special families the keys to a new Dodge Grand Caravan very soon," said Ed Broadbear, Vice President Marketing, Chrysler Canada.

Dodge and the CHL teamed up to create the Dodge Family All-Stars program. Through this program, Billet Families created profiles of their billet experiences to be voted on by CHL fans. Billet Families play an integral part in both the lives of players and the overall success of the Canadian Hockey League. Each year, over 1,000 hockey-loving families across Canada welcome CHL players into their homes and provide security and support to these young men while they pursue their hockey career in cities and towns far away from their own.

"On behalf of the Canadian Hockey League I would like to thank Dodge for their partnership this season and helping us recognize the important role that billet families play in each of our 60 CHL communities," said CHL President David Branch.

The CHL and Dodge thank all of the families who participated in the Dodge Family All-Stars program. Our three families will take the centre stage at the CHL Awards, plus they will be introduced on the ice during the MasterCard Memorial Cup and one lucky family will win a new 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan.

Over 3,600 votes were cast in support of the families who participated in the Dodge Family All-Stars program. Everyone who voted had the chance to win one of three sets of 2013/2014 season's tickets to their local CHL team (one per league). The three lucky winners have been chosen. Congratulations go to Audrey Malley (Calgary, AB, Calgary Hitmen); Chantel Burns (Windsor, ON, Windsor Spitfire); and Tracy Carmichael (Charlottetown, PEI, PEI Rocket).

The most awarded minivan ever, the Dodge Grand Caravan continues to lead the segment it created for the 29th year in a row and is a 'top five' best-selling vehicle in Canada. The Dodge Grand Caravan features industry-exclusive Super Stow 'n Go seating with easy one-touch operation. The second row in the Dodge Grand Caravan can be effortlessly stowed in less than five seconds with just one hand. And when not stowed, only Dodge Grand Caravan allows secure storage in the second row in-floor bins. Also standard on all Grand Caravan models is the 60/40 split-folding third row Stow 'n Go seating. Only Grand Caravan can so effortlessly be transformed from hauling seven passengers to hauling cargo in a matter of seconds. With a starting price of $19,995, Dodge Grand Caravan is available in five models to fit any lifestyle and budget: Canada Value Package (CVP), SXT Stow 'n Go, Crew, Crew Plus and R/T.
